Kids, sickness and coworkers

Experience 1: ahhhh, my oldest got chickenpox. And school starts in 3 weeks, and the other kids didn't yet got it. Will we be living with chickenpox fear for the next 8 weeks. A quick search through parenting forum tells me:

• Kids get in one after another, not at the same time.
• There is a two week lag between kid n and kid n+1 getting chickenpox.
• Kids are contagious 1-2 days before they get the rash, potentially even earlier during the incubation period.
• Each consecutive kid gets it worst than the previous one.
  

Experience 2: Can that male tech person just reply to my message? WTF!
So you see, dear world, this week has combined a lot of crap for me. I know, people are saying But it could be worst or at least you have fresh water, and believe me, I'm grateful for the funny tasting water coming out of my tap, the nature around us, and that bombs are not dropping over our head, but can I just contemplate in my misery for a moment, before taking a deep breath and facing life again?
Also, can't make it to my grand-mother's funeral. The last one standing has fallen.
